I dont remember, maybe you should try the DOS version of that kind tool from a more updated package:

inside there is a tool called trscp.exe, which is the DOS version of the program you are using, maybe compiled with update tr libs versions, it was the last time that tool was included in a editor release package i think.

It is a very old Tr editor, after installing the package inside you will found the folder SCRIPT, there you will found the full documentacion abut this kind language, there are also severals .scp examples.
