2 Tomo: aww, this is an odd bug . It happened with me once, but i'm sure it wasn't caused by remap patch with scorpion/small scorpion attack... Tested it right now with scorpion/small scorpion, no any bugs (but once screen flickered with black colour, but it also sometimes happens with TR4 engine without any patches applied). As far as i remember, remap never caused any bugs (except first version, when i've not found second overloaded buffer, but there were other bugs with textures). Have you tried to use clear tomb4.exe without any other modifications but remap patch? It's because there is possibly other "harmless at the first sight" settings that can cause this bug, like FOV... Try to create test level with only one room and scorpion and see if stretching will happen there too.

Hmm... I have no idea how to get rid of it then... Remap patch does nothing but moves two buffers in the other place of executable, so maybe when Lara is poisoned, some procedure get called and indirectly referring to an old buffer address... Until i've encountered it, i can only recommend to bypass "screen squash" procedure when Lara is poisoned...

2 Heinz: It's a shame that Core haven't put any randomizaton in enemy behaviour, because when 20 small scorpions use the same way when they move, it looks very funny but unrealistic. And AI must be the most difficult part when it comes to low-level editing...

2 Tomo: I think with some code modifications it's possible to do any attack for any enemy. Most difficult part is TR4's work with memory. Even if two different attack procedures has similar parameters, they can destroy some other memory regions, so engine will just crash with access violation. As for summoning enemy, it is maybe possible, because enemies is a simple items, like flares. I mean, when you throw a flare to a floor, flare is nothing more but one more item (so that's the reason why Core wrote in TRLE manual "don't exceed 245 objects, cause 10 objects used for in-game animations" - actually 10 item slots needed for "summonable" items, like flares, grenades and crossbow bolts). I don't know, but maybe it's possible for Lara to summon enemies with her grenade launcher or crossbow . This way we can create Half-Life-like guns.

2 Barry: This is a long sad story . Core Design used some very complicated method to load damage flags. Instead of putting something like "copy flag 01 to a memory zone for Skeleton", they've done it in a more strange way. Maybe they've done it because damage flags can change dynamically during the game, but i've not encountered any bugs with modified flags yet. Now about demigods - by default, every enemy's HP flag is "clear damage" (02 in hex), then TR4 engine does some calculations and converts it to other values (like blood damage, ricochets, etc.). But demigods have "clear damage" flags in any case, so engine just don't do additional calculations for it. Therefore it will be too difficult to modify these flags.

Also i have tested flame tail for crossbow meshes. Looks like parameters for "move mesh" and "draw flame tail" procedures are the same, but for some reason stack memory messes up after i'm trying to call "flame tail" for crossbow .

I think that reason why it loads at different offsets is VirtualAlloc function used for allocating memory. Alternate way to extend memory is extending one of TR4's sections (like it was done with scene remap patch) and extending tomb4.exe file itself, but it has its own disadvantages.

About summoning: i've once tested "summonage capabilities" of Lara's Grenade Launcher and it successfully summoned Uzis item, Pistols item, Medkits and so on (all items were pickupable). Unfortunately i haven't remarked code line which tells engine ID of item to summon . But i think it's somewhere nearby grenade fly procedure at offset 429120.
